"Where Eagles Dare", written by Alistair MacLean, gouache on colored paper,1990
In the book, "Where Eagles Dare", the soldiers have to trek their way up to a castle high on a cliff
in the Alps. Needless to say, the weather is not cooperating. Here, one of the soldiers comes
upon someone else who attempted the same but wasn't so lucky. This was one of
four illustrations done for the" Masters of Suspense series put out by the Easton Press.
