"Where Eagles Dare" written by Allistair MacLean,watercolor,1989
This is an illustration done for the Easton Press for their "Masters of Suspense" series in
1989. It was a lot of fun to do the illustrations for these novels because they were so action-
packed and very different from what I usually do. Many of them involved doing research
about World War II and the Nazis. Mainly, it was for getting the uniforms and weapons
correct.I used to do artwork for the U.S.Army Intelligence School and I learned much
about having to be accurate. When its military it had better be accurate.
